He developed his elite craft within the prestigious youth academy of Alianza Lima, one of South America’s most historic clubs. This upbringing of technical flair and tactical intelligence led him to the Peruvian professional ranks, where he competed for:

  • Bella Esperanza (Second Division)

  • Alcides Vigo (Second Division)

The Professional Record

After bringing his talents to the United States, Gerardo transitioned seamlessly into the American professional circuit. A standout midfielder, he made his mark in the USL Professional League with the Los Angeles Blues.

Legacy Moment

Gerardo holds the distinction of scoring the first-ever professional goal in the history of the Los Angeles Blues franchise (2011), cementing his place in Southern California’s soccer history.
